Existe gente tan ignorante como irrespetuosa ,solo les diré de que esta música es peruana y solo se toca, se canta y se baila en el Perú, o a ver digan en que otro país se baila el Festejo, El Landó, La Zamacueca ,La Zaña, El Alcatraz y etc . Afroperuano es un término que designa a la cultura de los descendientes de las diversas etnias africanas que llegaron a Perú durante el Virreinato adaptándose culturalmente al medio y es así como se realiza el sincretismo de la música africana con la diversidad cultural del Perú y nace un folclore negro típico peruano .Esto sucedió en cada país donde estuvieron los africanos y este sincretismo se desarrolló conforme a la idiosincrasia y diversidad cultural de cada país. Por citar un ejemplo ejemplo, en el Brasil existe La Samba y es el único país que lo toca y lo baila como parte de su folclore ,igual sucede con diversos países centro americanos y del Caribe donde cada quien tiene su propia música con influencia africana. En resumen, la música tradicional africana ha tenido una influencia significativa en la música de los países de todo el mundo . Sus ritmos pegajosos, melodías vibrantes y técnicas de percusión únicas han sido adoptados y adaptados por músicos de diferentes culturas y géneros donde también nacen La Guaracha ,El Guaguancó, La Rumba, El Candombe, y etc etc etc.
